I'M Alone I Am

I'm alone I am;
gone he is.

I'm still alive I found out;
I'm pacing myself.

Doin' the best I can.
I can't do more than I can I can't.

The time slip away sure does.

Great write with such an easy flow. However you are never alone as God walks beside you always. Blessings dear friend.

An emptiness in this one, a touch of melancholy. Vince

A beautiful write -full of anguish and pain resulting from someone having gone. It touches the heart. Powerful expression. It reminds me of a verse of great eighteenth century poet Mirza Ghalib which I have translated thus: Ghalib scale the anguish's sphere. The event is unbearable but life dear. -Mohammad

Oh Judith, this is just plain sad. Yes, it is awful he is gone, and I am so sorry for such a loss. I bet the best you can, is an awful lot more than you realize. As far as time goes, yes, it slips by way too fast. Sending warm hugs your way. Love, Shar xoxo
