Timothy Hicks May 10, 2016 at 5:11 PM Wow, Laura ... I had no idea you could sing. You got a big voice ... much deeper than I expected. Parts of it reminded me of Amy Lee from Evanescence ... I'm impressed by the singing alone .... the sections like, "I'm all that's keeping you alive" and the verses sounded the most melodic to me. Do you plan on keeping it A Capella or will you add music to it later? I think piano would be fitting. This song was written a while back - Ashly and I were big Evanescence fans, and I figured it deserved the haunting similarity. I picture this song a capella, but sung with a choir background, serving like lost souls singing, along with a strong soloist, or possible duet.
