I'M a Woman

I'm a woman.... Aspiring to prosper...
Sprinkled by doubt, I surrender to nostalgia
Searching for that missing link...
A girl's allowed to dream , isn't she?

Touched by sparkles of hope...
I long to feel that force!
That force that can stimulate my being...
I'm lifted by my hopes and dreams...

I rise above all
Like the woman I was made to be...
I clench my fists
 Joyous ,victorious!

I stand tall
Tears rolling down my cheeks...
I move forward tall and proud
I'm a woman
I am here...
AND I REPRESENT!

Thank You, Susan. I can't compare though, Helen Reddy is a legend. :-)
