You really thought I would wait for you?
Your confidence is amusing.
You still do that thing,
That, "I could have you if I tried"
Lie.
But, hey, whatever helps you sleep at night.

Because me and you,
Well, you killed that dream,
Or, rather, nightmare,
But that's a separate affair.
Right now,

That you couldn't get me back if you tried.
