Illusions

Nights of splendorous illusions
Days of plain reality
Are what balance this sweet life
Despite our harsh realities
We live with idealistic illusions
What a beautiful facade
You told me you loved me
What you did was hurt me
My problem was to have loved you
I told you I did not love you
Filled with pride I lied
And I continue my life with lies
because of the deceit

A significant release of pain & sadness here. You set the tone very strongly here. Well done!!
