Illusion

Passing before one's eyes
            like shadows on a wall
the occurences of this world
       continue unabated
The life we have chosen
is the life we must live
Does it seem that it is all
too real?
Welcome the changes(before the shadow falls on you
     and the sand finishes falling
                     through the hour glass)
because changes are the very "core" of life
     When they stop
                        you
                        will
                        know
     that the storybook has
been closed
                    "Forever"

I really like the artistic presentation. This poem gives the reader something to ponder. You may want to switch Welcom to Welcome and thevery to the very. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Karen

I will agree with the comment above - your formating is interesting. And I really like your use of the word unabated.
