Illumination
It’s not a walk through the woods that soothes the troubled mind,
It’s not the sinking sun that calms perturbed nerves,
It’s not the tranquil night that brings hope,
It’s not a walk by the sea that unloads the cluttered mind,
It’s not the rising sun that paints the day,
It’s not the trailing moon that opens the door into the night's chamber,
It’s the mind that’s ready to find the missing pieces,
It's the mind that's willing to search for the hidden treasures,
It’s the mind that's ready to take flight to where the eagles dare,
It’s the mind that anticipates heaven's light,
It’s the mind that allows light to pervade its gloomy room.
It’s the mind that sees streaks of light in the dark clouds.
