Illness Or Disease
Whether human beings or animals
No one can pretend to be totally free from diseases
Young or old; rich or poor; black or white
All of us are prone to be affected by it.
Ever since the creation of the world
The environment is constantly invaded by micro- organisms
Which makes all creatures vulnerable to sufferings
Innumerable health hazards surround us
A single attack can cause disequilibrium
Some are inborn while others are acquired
Bringing an imbalance in our daily life
Be it physical, mental or psychological
All of them interfere in our daily activities
Even with the extensive development of science
Medicine has its limits
If some illnesses are curable
A few of them are still incurable(HIV).
Many patients recover quite easily
But others have to fight till the last breath
Many diseases are linked with modern life style
And also associated with climatic changes
We must be morally and physically conditioned
To adapt with their impacts
Failure to cope with the situation
Will eventually lead us to depression
We have no other alternative
Than to consider it as our destiny
Because from birth to death
Disease is part and parcel of life
