Illioupoli 2010

This city shines on me
Like I'm the only one
To have braced its rays
And lavished in its sun.
De-ja-vu reflects it's brilliance;
I’ve dreamt the roads I chase
Finding ruins of Rembrandts
From a superior-human race.
This city leaves a glow,
upon my Lilly skin
It kisses me so sweetly,
From the outside in
I’m suffocated by its beauty;
it leaves me too weak to run
Fore warned I’ve gazed, unprotected
At the city of the sun.
