I'll Write.

My muse...she tounts me.
My muse she haunts me.
My words always contrasting,
her maze everlasting.
I sit here and ponder in my head.
Is that what u really said?
To right down all that you know?
Then my reflection will show?!
Then will they hear me?
Will they even understand?
My words always mixed up!
Is my art is to be damned!
Sitting in my room
so many thoughts in my head
I lay back down
so many words to be said!
Do they hear me muse?
Can they understand?
My art is my outlet...
Through the pen in my hand!
The music it plays in my mind.
But damn it if it's not the lyrics I can find.
Cursed I am and my art is too
a poets life is nothing without a muse.
I loved you dearly my muse so much.
It's onto your memory that I clutch!
So I sit here wondering...
What could I do to save my kind.
But I figure if I keep this up I'll loose my mind!
So I just love you my only muse.
I call her life,
and life is what I choose!
So my muse,
once you've lost your shine what do I do?
I sit here and be another old poser
trying to be cool.
My words so mixed up,
my rymes loosing meaning.
I guess I'm outta luck.
So I wait each day trying not to fight.
Waiting for her to leave me.
But until she does I'll write.
