I'll Wait For You

I won't start reading until you do
I won't have a latte unless I have one with you
I don't like doing crosswords alone
I love when we talk on the phone

I won't play Brooke unless you're there
On the same team together, I don't care
If I don't, but I like when I do
And no one else plays her but you

I won't write a poem for another
It's a way through my words to uncover
The things that I want to say
Just to you, they're my heart on display

And as long as you know how I feel
That the love for you I have is real
It's enough to get by and make do
Until that day...I'll wait for you
