I'Ll Take What's Mine

Time doesn't make love stronger or more real It takes but a spark for love's flame to reveal Your soul lit my flame, forcing passion's eruption New love now leaves old love full of corruption Your heart speaks to mine with each increased beat Words from you heart, through my mind, they repeat I love you the most, I tremble till still I love you too, bumps raise without chill We never met, never touched, how can love exist? Love needs no caress, no embrace, no long kiss Love is purely connection from two fused as one Shared secrets, shared feelings, they can't be undone I long to hold you, till it hurts, and tears start to stream I want to sleep in your arms and share a sweet dream But I'm here, and you're there, and there's he and there's she So I take what is left and give all I can of me It might be untouchable, with distance for miles But it's real and it's strong and creates heart felt smiles I feel like I know you without even trying The truth always yours, I have no reason for lying I love you, I've told you, from casual to real You love me, you told me, it's no longer concealed We'll grow closer together until we enthral Just hold me with words and don't let me fall
