I'Ll Say Good - By

I'll say good - by now
 It's been wonderful
 Knowing you.

As I sit and think of us.
 And the memories of
 having you close to me.

 Watching you while you sleep
 Touching your warm body
 Laying mine next to yours.

Going through the years with you
 Knowing you would be there
Now it's time for us to part.

I'll say good - by now.

For a time whats yours is mine. Until that fateful day. We share so much, a gentle touch and then we're on our way. Beyond this trist, we now exist to not know what's in store. Tomorrow has the only key to open up the door. Peace. :) Nice poem from yesteryear.

Even though there was all the good stuff, there must have been a lot of pain inflicted to bring you to this point. Somehow, you sum up the sadness and loss you feel even though you did the right thing. You capture the toughness of the decision in a special way.

I like this, Debbie. It reads like a rather different situation - and does it very movingly - Red
