I'Ll Never Know

I wonder as I sit here looking at the stars
How we can be so close, and yet, so far apart
An impossible question but still I tend to ask
I don't know where life's going, it's moving way to fast
So often do we think about the way our life should be
And still I cannot figure out life's little mystery
It's like a puzzle without a piece to fit into the last
Like tomorrow's feelings are always based on feelings from our past
I feel like people tend to take for granted what they're given
But if you have a heart to love, there's hearts to be forgiven
Take time alone to think about your life and where it's going
Or else you'll go through like confused,
wondering but never knowing
