I'Ll Lie

First time I died
I cried
Ok, so I lied
Least I tried

I did feel bad
But not sad
Not glad
Well just a tad

I've never tried to be the same
Never even understood that game
Felt it kinda lame
Deep down you felt the same

With a resource
GOD, of course
With remorse
Could be worse

You can't do it alone
Skills you can hone
All the way to the bone
Change your tone

The big man don't play
You will see some day
He's on the way
Pray!

Thought that's all I'd say
Well without delay
Put your demons at bay
Let them rollover and lay

He's to much
Can't handle the touch

Never asked his favor
But it I did savor
Without waiver

My task
All need be just ask

His voice, can't always hear
Lost it I fear
NO! I feel him near
My soul, he will bear
           BE AWARE!
