I'Ll Hold Your Hand

I'm growing old
My body is weary
I don't want to leave you
I still see you quite clearly

Please hold my hand

Are you still there
My time is drawing near
My vision is blurry
I can barley hear

Please hold my hand

I can no longer see you
The lights have all gone out
Oh, my darling I love you
But my time has run out

Please hold my hand

I see you quite clearly
Bent over my bed
Tears run down your cheeks
That you have shed

I know your heart is breaking
Please dry your eyes and see
I haven't gone far, reach up to me

And I'll hold your hand

They were married for ever, and when Grandpa passed Grandma had alshimers. It was truly heat breaking, they were everything to each other.
