I'Ll Build a Castle
If I have the time I'll build a castle,
And shape it to fit the home of her dreams.
I'll make it of rock and solid oak beams -
Then I'll say shyly, "It was no hassle ".
If that does not do it, I'll think again,
Then take her flying around this planet.
I'll carve "I love you" in solid granite
So she may see I'm a man among men.
Perhaps I should just buy her some roses
So she will see the tender side of me.
While I practice saying that , "I love thee"
We could smell the flowers and touch noses.
Thoughts of her inspire me to a great height.
Perhaps we'll see a movie that's playing.
I could buy popcorn while I am paying,
And hold her hand when they turn down the light
