Why Is the Ocean Blue and Sometimes Green?

I'll Always Remember You From Ashore I'll forever look out at the sea And see you waving And though I like what I see I could never ride your waves Like a seal I could never undress my feelings for you Because you had ... so many other seals The ebb and flows The low tides It caught me just in time More than you'll ever know My heart hurts at the imperfections of life ... and the mysteries of the sea connie pachecho 2/10/24

This is so oceanic and so soulful, i felt the emotions flowing throughout your well woven words. And the picture youv used is stunning’ I especially felt the line “ My heart hurts at the imperfections of life ... and the mysteries of the sea“ so evocative! Loved this

This poem and analogy is a story of a potential suitor who wore a different suit. I wrote as if I were writing to him and the story of my life. Ty for your lovely comment.
