I'Ll Always Remember
With the coming of fall came our destruction
It was the season we met and the season of reduction
You wanted to stay friends I didn't think it would function
I wanted to make amends, like losing you I lost that election
Like the coming of winter your heart turned cold
I was left down and out with no one to hold
The storm raged on inside my heart
All the while you were making a new start
Instead of being there for me you broke my fragile heart
I'll forgive and forget and take some blame
But I'll always remember that year when fall came
