IIH

Was it friend ship or something else
maybe but I could never be sure
its one or the other with me
which is no surprise by now
the two halves seem to have been
severed at birth
you either are
or not rarely if
ever I have seen one to
walk in both shades of, light
that rare creature who,
like I on restless night
stalk long silent in the ever new glimmer
only to make way for days
days past and
mornings

where is it (that static lofi shot
of a blackdress right
out of focus, stage left
there or maybe
next time, for the next)
done searching
black and white
alleyways

Ha don’t make me laugh
you know my ribs
still hurt, let it pass by
it’ll heal
things pass by though
catch last one out on
to the next
