Ignorance Is Not Bliss

Unless we know, we will falter,
just when we are at the altar.
Garner wisdom in stillness slow;
we will falter, unless we know.

We will falter, unless we know,
so best we let God’s grace endow.
How may our dark fate we alter?
Unless we know, we will falter.
