Ignorance

With open ears and a closed mind I basked in the sun of information I swam in deep seas Of knowledge Breathed in corrections Just to later breath out fury Paranoid of my pride’s fate Believed I was an island So I wrecked every ship In my radar Turned off every light You may say I was up tight But from the comfort of the dark That was surely right I only applauded ideas In my custody Perceived everything as stupidity
