If-Proverbs For People In Recovery

If you don't get up in the morning
you will never have to face life.
If you don't get up in the morning
you will never experience the joy that is life!
If you don't walk out your front door
you need never face stress or panic.
If you don't walk out your front door
you will never know the exhilaration of a day!

If you don't make use of your time
there will still be no more of it left at the end.
If you don't make use of your time
think of all you will have missed in the end!
If you don't first give of yourself
you need ask for nothing in return.
If you don't first give of yourself
you may never know true fulfillment or love!

If you don't walk through life as a child
you may never hear its song or experience its harmony.
If you don't walk through life as a child
you may never join the great chorus which is life!
If you have faith in an abiding God
you will never, ever be totally alone.
If you have faith in an abiding God,
the end of this journey means the beginning of another!
