If Your Leaving, Take Your Ghost With You

Leaving your ghost behind
With purity this time

You've been fickle too many times
For me to rely on you
To be my baby

You remind me
How much of life is a game
I can't argue

But how many times
Will we dance around
Eachother's hearts?

You say you don't mind
To continue on as we have

You also said
The old lover was bygone
You say a lot of things
That you don't remember

A pleasure to read your poetry today Justin. I will try to come back later this week to read more. I have a spring cold and not up to reading for too long. Have a wonderful week. Love, Carol
