If You Were the Sky

If you were the sky
Even if it rains or not
Even if it's day or night
It will always be alright
I still want you in my sight

If you were the sky
I will never look for someone else
For your beauty and charm is immense
I will be elated if i could reach you
But i am contented by seing the view

If you were the sky
I will gladly wake up and see
The pretty view of the sunrise
Drinking this nicely brewed coffee
Amazing, this just feels so nice

If you were the sky
You would be always there all the time
Reminding me that everything's fine
And comfort me when I'm down
Then you would not see me frown

If only it could come true
Hoping and expecting for you
But you were just a cloud that flew
And left me here missing you
