If You Loved Me
If you loved me
you would try,
without hesitation
and never a sigh.
If you loved me
you'd give your attention,
I'd never ask
or have to mention.
If you loved me
you'd give your support,
Instinctively given
without a thought.
If you loved me
you would put me first,
in our sea of love,
totally immersed.
