If You Love Someone

They used to say that if you love someone set them free,
He is such good company day by day.

I haven't met a prince this nice in the longest time,
The day we met I fell in love with him.

Determined not to fall in love again,
That just happened deemed by the gods I thought.

He doesn't know how much I care,
I see him from day to day and we always say hello.

We have even hugged now and then,
My reason for being and staying friends.

Wishing to share my days with him,
My relatives know that I have met this handsome prince.

He is tall and muscular and strong,
His handshake forever etched in my memory.

God's miracles guest and I anxiously await God's answer,
Thanks be to the Lord our God for this miracle in my life.
