If You Know Me

You said I’m easy to read
So why aren’t you here
Why don’t you call
If you know me
And you care
What did I do to hurt you
And deserve this
Because I could have sworn
That all I did was love you
Love you and need you
I’m sorry
If you know me
Like you say you do
You understand
You see
My loneliness and pain
My confusion and tears
So why don’t you call
Why aren’t you here
Never has there been
Something I couldn’t tell you
So tell me
Help me
Please, just don’t leave me
Alone forever
