If You

If you have read my mind,
Then you should know my pain,
Like anything in time,
It's defined by many names...
If you have read my eyes,
And think you know the truth,
Be careful of what lies,
Betray your need for proof...
If you have felt my heart,
Beat softly as you touch,
While waiting to restart,
Then beating twice as much...
If you have ever kissed,
You know how soft should feel
On the softest pair of lips,
Let nothing feel as real...
If you have touched my soul,
It's where true love has bound,
Your heart so it will know,
Where it is always found...
