If We Lived In a World

If we lived in a world If we lived in a world not full of sin Nobody would lose and every body would win If we lived in a world where dreams were made Every one could be happy our minds wouldn’t fade If we lived in a world and we kept on believing Then soon we wouldn’t love with hate and deceiving If we lived in a world and know God holds it in his hands We would all be the same love all of his lands If we lived in a world and treated everybody the same We wouldn’t lie for wealth, fortune or fame If we lived in a world and not try to be a king Nothing could hold us down not anyone or anything If we lived in a world of peace, trust and love Then God would smile on us all from high up above. Well-penned, Marty! Lot of ifs, but if we can't dream, what have we got left? Light and Joy, Gershon

G’day Marty … very true what you wrote Marty, but power and greed have consumed humanity into a world of hate, deception, and destruction. I just your verse was the world we live in - thank you Marty - Lindsay
