If We Live To Bless Others

IF WE LIVE TO BLESS OTHERS Have sympathy for another who's hurting, Empathize with the way that they feel, Be free with your kindness and comfort, And share your heartfelt ideals. Be generous with those who may need you, Give love where pure love is gone. Tenderness and patience are needed, And often a comforting song. Sometimes you may be downhearted, Or feel like the world is so cruel, But if you'll rise and help others And follow the old "golden rule," Life will be better by serving The needs of your poor fellowman. For blessings will attend those who follow Such a wonderful, God-given plan. You see, we were made to serve others, To find our happiness there, And if we live to bless others In time we'll have our full share. Copyright 2005, Kathryn Search
