If We Don'T Wake Up In Time...

Life is fleeting
a moment caught
by the camera’s eye
still perishes, passes
replaced by the now
that always triumphs
expectation, regret
all meaningless, empty

*PAY ATTENTION*

Distractions are infinite
seductive,
addicting
consuming
destructive.

In them there is
no meaning
no destination
nowhere, nothing
all is empty;
in forsaking purpose
there can be epiphany
realization replacing
ignorance
peace overcoming
anxiety
now becoming
reality.

Very well written, a fast-paced read, a very Schopenhauerian feel to it; "...in the fleeting present as the sole form in which actuality exists." (On the Vanity of Existence). Thanks for the upload. Regards, Gavin.
