If Tomorrow

If tomorrow I could never see you again What would I say to you today? Would I tell you that I cannot live without you Or the touch of your lips on mine? Would I tell you I would miss the feel of your hands … The smell of your body as you hold me in your arms? Would I tell you that I cannot live without Your breath warm against my soft skin as you kiss me? Would I tell you that my life would be empty and cold Without you in it? No smile to chase the chills away No beautiful eyes to look into mine. As I think of these things today I know how lucky I am because… Today I can tell you I love you Today I can tell you how happy you make me Today I can tell you my life has meaning with you in it I am lucky because … tomorrow you will still be here.
