If This Is Where I Leave You
If this is where I leave you
then let the tears fall fast and quick
without restraint or holding back.
I have loved you always
in the forever of our time
realizing I never once possessed you,
but I was never yours,
and you were never mine.
Let me hold my breath a moment
pausing, as I wave our last goodbye
it's your time to cry.
