If There's a Hole In the Wall

If there’s a hole in the wall
Can you see through it?
Does your eye look into
This minute matter?
The cold concrete contains
Clandestine calamities
And I’m begging to be invited
To that wondrous world
Thread me through
And take me inside
Away from the outside
