If There Was No Tomorrow

If there was no tomorrow to see No longer touching delight and joy We could not feel the pain we each flee If there was no tomorrow No more a nurse, mom, kid or cowboy To not walk the earth a tragedy All the trees and sea did we destroy? I could not hold or kiss you carefree Or see a child snuggle a dear toy Tears I would shed to fill up the sea If there was no tomorrow 2nd place What if there was no tomorrow Poetry Contest written 8-19-2019

It would be so sad if there were no tomorrow. No. Wait. No "nurse mom kid or cowboy" - even worse than I thought. Best of luck for a win Jeanne.
