If There Was a Time I Needed a Period
if there was a time i needed a period,
it is now
at the end i will never finish,
keeping then etched in concrete
your mind is churning
of course in my unorthodox rage i fail to see it
cool and quiet, you exit with final solution and conclusion
the period appears tardy after finally escaping the many lines of exclamations
after all the rags, cloths, and sponges of my meaningless, selfish rant have been fully freed of all dampness,
i suddenly realize that i should not have had a need for a period....PERIOD!
