If She Were Never There
If she were never there
who else could be
at once sensual and sublime
in form and style?
In her absence,
Who will match
her eloquence and diction
and entwine me
with an embrace divine?
At times what she says
is short and terse
so I fail to know her quick,
yet her words hum long in my heart
in an enigmatic tune deep,
but If she ceases to be, What will
this heart do in its rib-cage?
If she does exist,
emotions
raw or refined
How will I lay bare
and share what sits
In the cave of this heart?
A beauty that can enter any Heart
In trails, tribulations and triumphs caught
She the Poetry, is the epitome of Art,
her absence I can fathom not.
