If She Could Hear This
She stood like the outstanding one in the midst of all,
Hoping for what no one knew
Too patient and careful,
looking at me cunningly
But afraid to come near me,
and to reveal what I could read in her eyes
She could be every boy dream,
but she's my reality
She could be that apple tree,
but she's the only apple in my sight
Since the day we met,
she has been and is still trying but having no courage to tell me
I doubt if she'll tremble when I kiss her
And be mine, when I ask her to
But how difficult it is,
to tell her all these even though my words are true!
