If People Were Flowers

If people were flowers
She would be a rose
One that everyone wanted
and I,
I would be a sunflower
One nobody took a second glance at
And even if you don't know it,
When given the choice
You would choose her
And I'd have been the fool of a flower,
Thinking you would prove them wrong
And choose differently
To that of society
