If only you knew

melding with the shifting hues of a scarlet sunset dissolving ego identity while playing with a child taking in the breeze wafting through pine trees invoking grace by making heart soft and mild relinquishing cravings with nonchalant ease oh worthy hermit, what is that awareness innate vibrancy that does not come and go immediate and intimate, closer than our skin the pulse of life cognised in staid stillness slow bliss ignition that constantly reverberates within befriending silence by shifting from head to heart allowing soul stirrings to rise and in time subside as attention ceases to sway, our ego falls away consciousness expands and we wingless glide beholding our luminous essence, clear as day

Thank you, Silent One. I recall you floated a contest with the same theme a few years back as well.

I always feel you have a hermit like personality, dear Seeker friend, embracing silence, constantly waging a war against ego and subduing it. Also communing with a power inside. In all your poems I observe this. This beautifully rhyming poem is the credo of the life you uphold. You always encourage us to stay on a higher plane.
