If Only You Knew

Another poem I write as I often do to someone who’s still living in my head. Yes, I write to you, incredible you. By that small chance my poem could be read by you, incredible you, I sit and write, not knowing if you are alive or dead. Not knowing after all these years – that’s my plight, Always I’ll remember, incredible you, our dreamy magical most special night. I like to think you still think of me too, and with that said: How much you meant to me! Incredible you . . . if only you knew. Oct. 25, 2020

I think it's more important how you remember that time, Andrea. Hold the feeling close. It is likely more beautiful than he could ever have been. Sometimes our memories become greater than the experiences we've shared.

If this isnt true love Andrea, I do not know what is. Our hearts carry memories that when thought of the re ignite the feelings, the flames, the love, the emotion. It is in this piece. You will grow old always wondering I pray you have closure someday. Wishing you that happy ending... Gods blessing to you...

I wonder if that person is writing poems to you from far away, wondering 'if only you knew'. Well done.

That’s so moving Andrea, someone you’ve loved never leaves your memory chest, they’re always there in the back of your mind coming to the forefront from time to time. ~ Belle

Hi Andrea, This is a good entry for the contest theme. It doesn’t matter how many years go by, that we don’t think about the that meant so much. They remain in our head and in our hearts. Especially if they didn’t know how much they are loved. We often think about the might have beens. You expressed that very well in this write. I wish you the best of luck in the contest:-) Alexis
