If Only You Knew
Another poem I write as I often do
to someone who’s still living in my head.
Yes, I write to you, incredible you.
By that small chance my poem could be read
by you, incredible you, I sit and write,
not knowing if you are alive or dead.
Not knowing after all these years – that’s my plight,
Always I’ll remember, incredible you,
our dreamy magical most special night.
I like to think you still think of me too,
and with that said: How much you meant to me!
Incredible you . . . if only you knew.
