If Only We Could Meet Again
If only there was a way
For us to meet again.
Then perhaps we would succeed
And id be able to trust in men.
For you hurt me very deeply
You broke my heart in two.
I truly tried everything I could think of
To get back the love from you.
But sadly we'd outgrown each other
Throughout the many years we shared.
No longer did we yearn for one another
Like in past times when in love we cared.
At least we had some good times
I hope they outweighed the bad.
For I for one was truly happy
And once in loving you was so glad.
I'll never forget our memories
From the lives together shared.
I just hope that we find happiness
And oureleased broken hearts can be repaired
