If Only People Knew

In this night hour
Dreadful fears looming
Around the corner of darkness
The thieves of sleep party
In the silent corridors of my mind
Those images ready to purge
The past is gone, but retained
   - It can’t be stopped -
Just as time, can’t be either
   - If only people knew -
