If Only In My Dreams

(For Rapper Sensation, Kanye West)
(On behalf of his Mother, the late, Dr. D. West)

Like a Child from its nightmares,
awakes and screams
Do I find Myself, going through
the Extremes
Of holding it All together, then
bursting at the seams
As if I'm on Cloud Nine and the
balancing beams
But, isn't Life full of surprises and
schemes
When I had you, was mine like a
box of Krispy Kremes
Now, it's devastating as Diana being
without the Supremes
Got Me caught between Life and Death,
wanting to referee these teams
Just so I could have you back, If Only
In My Dreams
