If Only I Had Wings

I used to dream of flying away
Spreading snowy wings everyday
On wings of white I would soar
Seeking to find so much more

I would leave this lonely world behind
And go see what I could find
I would see the world anew
Knowing things I never knew

Not a soul could ever stop me
I would be who I want to be
As I lift my feet up off the ground
I would turn and look all around

If only I had wings
I would do many things
I would soar through the air
Not having a single care
If only I had wings
