If Only I Could Get Free

The moon sways me to a darker conscious,
Abolish past weakness in the sunrise,
I spread a wavelength of existing nonexistent on the continents.
The remainder of me sits idle while my soul becomes sun dried.

Calculating my rate of evaporation I accept...
The truth for what it is and what it will be,
To be or not to be- is the question I try to digest,
While being the one who questions makes it hard to see.

I slip to a way of life only preferred by the ignorant,
Ignorance being bliss, yet me not being bliss filled,
Blissful in the night that sheds light past indifference.
While being arrogant and gaining wit leaves me sin sealed.

If only I could get free.
