If Only For a Moment

If only for a moment I  could be with you there 
    Whatever happened in my life after that I wouldn't care 
    If only for a moment I could feel your embrace 
    To look into to your eyes and know I have found my place 
    That one simple moment in time and space 
    That holds forever for us our special place 
    If only for a moment you could see 
    How you've changed my life for me 
    But moments are only periods of time 
    And alas it has passed by and the moment is no longer mine
