If Only

The barrier preventing love,
is as strong, as the love, giving in.
As long as the strength of love, is truly intact,
the strength of that hold, will never begin.

For there, are many mountains, to be climbed,
for the potential of love, to be where it ought.
Placing the impression of the possibilities, at hand,
is for the love, for one another, to be taught.

For hate and lies, are often the barriers,
provoking blame, where there’s, no blame at all.
Responsible for the actual accusations,
causing many relations, up to nations, to then fall.

Oh how I pray, for a better outcome,
in comparison, to where, we are now.
If only, people are willing, to listen,
and of love, to be then, shown how.
