If Only

If I was the wind, I would set you free;
Untethered and roaming through the breeze.

I'll be the rain and wash away your sorrows;
Leaving to you dew filled tomorrows.

I want to be the sun that sets your soul ablaze;
The purpose and reason behind your infernal craze.

You deserve it all, in these ways and more;
'Cause my entire life, you're all I've wished for.
